Happy Thursday, Friends!
Today Erin Howard joins us for a fun interview about her favorite things! Be sure to comment at the end of the post to let her know you stopped by.
Hi, Erin! Tell us your favorite:
Color– When I was a teenager, I would have said anything but pink. I wasn’t a girly girl growing up. It wasn’t until college age that I started enjoying more pinks. However, my go-to color is blue.
Blue is one of my favorite colors too!
Restaurant– I love Mexican food. We have a local Mexican restaurant that we go to quite often. Okay, we go there all the time. My poor husband is tired of Mexican food because that’s the only place the kids and I want to go.
Mexican food is my comfort food. I never get tired of it.
Movie– This is an impossible question. I love all kinds of genres of movies. My top five: The Princess Bride, Pride and Prejudice, Pirates of Caribbean, Ever After, and You Got Mail.
All great movies! Of those, Pride and Prejudice and You Got Mail are among my top picks.
Book– Again, almost impossible. I’ve read so many books that it’s hard to say just one that is my favorite. Top five: The Hunger Games, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter series, Red, White & Black series, and Love Comes Softly series.
I could never name just one favorite book either. I probably have two or three for every mood. And the Love Comes Softly series is right up there with dozens of others.
Dish– Anything Italian or Mexican.
Ditto….unless we’re talking about Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. Then I have to get out another list!
Vacation Spot– I love the beach. It has a way of calming me down like no other place. St. George Island is my favorite beach spot so far.
I’m sure it’s beautiful there. I love the sound of the waves coming in on the sand.
Hobby – I love to try anything crafty. Crocheting is my favorite. But I also do cake decorating, string art, and paint door hangers.
That’s awesome! I’ve love doing all kinds of crafts. I’m not always very good at it, but I enjoy it anyway.
Place to unwind– I love to read in bed, or binge watch a TV show. I’m not a morning person, but a night owl, so I don’t mind staying up late to relax.
Mornings are not my thing either. Sitting in my recliner reading a book until the wee small hours is my idea of a good night.
Song– I go through phases of music where one song will be my favorite for a while. Right now, Reckless Love is my favorite.
I would probably bore you with my long list of favorite songs…again, two or three for every mood. One of mine is When I Think About the Lord.
Thanks for letting us get to know you a little better, Erin. Until next time!

Elnora’s parents gave her one rule:
Stay hidden away at all costs.
Elnora Scott is used to her survival depending on the decisions of others. Locked away in her safe house, it is easy to follow her parents’ dying wishes until an angel, demon, and seer show up on her doorstep. Now, waking up in a dirty cell, she wishes she would have gone with them when she had the chance, because the very ones who unknowingly ushered the kidnapper to her location may be the only ones who can save her.
When Thea learns that Elnora may be in danger, she doesn’t hesitate to go find her. Thea thought stepping through the portal would be her greatest obstacle, but it only reveals a more sinister threat.
